Kristin Perricelli, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Vestibular Specialist

Dr. Kristin Perricelli received a masters degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2005. Kristin worked at New York University Langone Medical Center-Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the leader in rehabilitation worldwide, from 2005-2011.  She practiced in multiple specialty areas including acute care, chest physical therapy, adult inpatient acute rehabilitation, pediatric outpatient and inpatient acute rehabilitation, women’s health, cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation.  She ultimately held a permanent senior position in the outpatient vestibular therapy department, the first of its kind in the tri-state area, performing exclusively vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy.  Kristin received a certification in vestibular rehabilitation from Emory University School of Medicine in 2009 and went on to receive her doctoral degree in physical therapy from Temple University in 2010.  Recognizing the importance of this treatment specialty and its lack of availability on Long Island, Kristin started her practice in Nassau County in 2011, providing vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy to local residents.  She continued the pursuit of her passion and expertise in vestibular therapy receiving her certification in pediatric vestibular rehabilitation in 2013.  Kristin is one of the few physical therapists who are certified in both adult and pediatric vestibular rehabilitation.

Dr. Kristin Perricelli is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Vestibular Disorders Association.

Daniella Leone, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Vestibular Specialist

Dr. Daniella Leone received her master’s degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2004, and her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Temple University in 2008.  Upon graduating from Quinnipiac University, she joined the physical therapy department at New York University Langone Medical Center-Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, a recognized world leader in rehabilitation, where she practiced from 2004 through 2012.  She practiced in the areas of acute care, chest physical therapy and adult inpatient rehabilitation.  Dr. Leone was promoted to assistant unit supervisor in the adult inpatient rehabilitation unit.  She directed the physical therapy staff that treated musculoskeletal, surgical, neurological and medically complex patients.  She participated in data collection for the Stroke Research Project published in 2011 by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She also has ample experience in home care setting.  Dr. Leone joined Long Island Vestibular Physical Therapy in 2021 and received extensive training in vestibular rehabilitation.  She earned her Vestibular Certification through Duke University in 2023.

Dr. Daniella Leone is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Vestibular Disorders Association.

Lee Stambouli, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Vestibular Specialist

Dr. Lee Stambouli received his doctoral degree in physical therapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2021. Prior to his studies in physical therapy, Lee practiced as a certified athletic trainer in various settings including the high school, collegiate, and the professional levels. In 2011 and 2012 Lee had the opportunity to work as an intern athletic trainer with the New York Jets assisting in medical coverage for practices and games, treatments for players and executing rehabilitation programs. After his professional athletic training experience, Lee wanted to further his knowledge in the field of rehabilitation for more diverse patient populations. Lee’s training as a physical therapist has given him the opportunity to work with multiple age groups with a wide spectrum of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. Lee joined Long Island Vestibular Physical Therapy to offer manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation targeted for, but not limited to, patients experiencing symptoms from vestibular disorders and balance dysfunction.  Always looking to further his knowledge base, Lee began training in vestibular rehabilitation under the tutelage of Dr. Kristin Perricelli in 2023.  He completed his vestibular certification through Duke University in 2024 and is an integral member of the Long Island Vestibular Physical Therapy team providing both vestibular and orthopedic therapy to our patients.

Lynn Epstein, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant

Lynn Epstein received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Nassau Community College in 2018.  While pursuing her degree, Lynn interned at Gurwin Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Northwell Health STARS outpatient orthopedic clinics and United Cerebral Palsy Children’s Center.  Lynn has been practicing vestibular therapy since 2018.  Prior to receiving her PTA degree, Lynn worked as an ACE and ISSA certified personal fitness trainer.  She brings to Long Island Vestibular Physical Therapy her skills and passion for working with people one on one to achieve their physical goals.
